The mod from over yonder
all cars are a pain in the ass.
So I should do the hv3 before I get the headers?
Bio you sure those headers are different? I had to call them a few times so I know speed daddy is made by dna motoring, the ppl in thr posted listing.
It doesn't really matter, they are both mods that vastly improve the top end power of a motor that lacks TONS of it. After the HV3, next thing I would source out is a tune...grab a new set of plugs/wires too if you haven't done that yet either; Autolite 606's. With headers, it just moves the powerband up top...so you might "feel" like you lost some low end grunt by ditching the manifold setup, but your just making more power in the long run. I loved my headers...because these cars are hard enough to launch as is...getting rid of some of that low end torque means you'll actually get outta the hole faster because you can just stab it and stay in it.
For a tune can I just get a reprogrammed PCM?
Yeah you can, but a custom tune will be better.
Yes, see my post in the other thread.
THIS, is way better. I bet there are Georgia GP members...try googling a SW GP club or something. Custom tunes are where its at because they are tailored for YOUR specific car and mods.
