• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cheap-ish mods????

Yeah, but European ones are a bigger one if you ask me. AND THEY'RE SO FACKIN EXPENSIVE when it comes to parts.

So then you'll love this thing, for under a grand you can run 13's as long as its a blower car. If not...you'll want to get an HV3 for it since your shifting the powerband up higher already.

Again, read that thread that was posted to begin with...it'll really help with your modding direction.

Nope, I'm N/A. With the hv3 insert, do I just simply take out the stock plastic ones throw this one in and call it a day? Does it make a noticeable difference?

It makes a huge difference in the higher RPM's. No tune required either. And when you take off the L26 UIM...if it is anything like the older plastic L36...just take out the factory crap plastic runners and put the HV3 in there...I'd put a cone filter on at the same time too if you haven't done that yet. Then...3" downpipe.

Ever seen the engine bay of a 4th gen F-body? Those are a true pain in the ass. Half the motor is under the cowl. :th_shakinghead2:
That obviously didn't quote right... It was supposed to be a quote with the "THANK YOU MAN" and European cars being a pain in the ass post.

So I should do the hv3 before I get the headers?

It doesn't really matter, they are both mods that vastly improve the top end power of a motor that lacks TONS of it. After the HV3, next thing I would source out is a tune...grab a new set of plugs/wires too if you haven't done that yet either; Autolite 606's. With headers, it just moves the powerband up top...so you might "feel" like you lost some low end grunt by ditching the manifold setup, but your just making more power in the long run. I loved my headers...because these cars are hard enough to launch as is...getting rid of some of that low end torque means you'll actually get outta the hole faster because you can just stab it and stay in it.

Bio you sure those headers are different? I had to call them a few times so I know speed daddy is made by dna motoring, the ppl in thr posted listing.

well, i cant be 100% certain, but i do know at one point someone bought some headers from both sellers that had issues. the only one that has brought anything up and told us they were switching stock was the speed daddy seller. he is actually a member on the forums here and we all had a good long talk with him about what he had and what we wanted.

so to be honest, i dont know for sure.

For a tune can I just get a reprogrammed PCM?

Yes, see my post in the other thread.

THIS, is way better. I bet there are Georgia GP members...try googling a SW GP club or something. Custom tunes are where its at because they are tailored for YOUR specific car and mods.

Doesnt parker do custom tunes? lol
