• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Matt Palm

WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE?!?!
i want to upgrade my 2000 gtp and keep it relativley cheap i have $1000 for performance mods and its my daily driver so i want to keep it realistic what should i do. i already have a cold air intake

im just stuck becasue do i really want to drop all that money into my car when im going to college this coming year because it is cool and will make my car faster

for under a thousand...
get headers and a 3.4 pulley, a tune and colder plugs. should get you into the 14's.

I vote 1.9 modified rockers and cheap headers. Will give you plenty of umph without breaking the bank.

i do not really have time to get into the motor really so im just lookin into bolt on like headers, 3.4 pulley, 180 thermostat stuff like that maybe cam

yeah true and i found a guy kinda local who does tuning and he was recommended by several people

Headers $200
modded 1.9's $250
port your sc free
Mps with 3.4 $100
Custom tune $100?

Should put you into mid 13's

i said maybe cam because the other things i listed were bolt ons and i didnt know if i wanted to get into my motor like that

With rockers you won't have to really get in to the engine. Just unbolt the vale covers and stock rockers and thenbolt on the 1.9's. If not going with rockers then a basic 3.4 setup will suit you nicely.

My rockers bored me.

I had 1.84's...shifting at 6k. Tossed them out for an XP.

Best thing I ever did.
