ok so my tire got popped at a car wash over the weekend and the owner denies responsibility......i have pictures of the messed up car wash trackl rails and my inside sidewall being ripped......gonna take this guy to court most likely and upon researching him found this:Boss Asked Us for Sex: Car Wash Workers - Chicago Breaking News

question would it be illegal for me to walk into this work and hand everyone that works there a copy of this news report so they are aware? and is it worth taking him to court over a 145$ tire that he pretty much told me to fukk off about? he was completely ignorant to me.......or is personal revenge better?

Id contact your local News and maybe they'll do a story about it. Not sure going to small claims court will net you anything, but it'd cost him more than $145 in lost business for another bad news story.

first off you should have call the po po and got a police report right then and there, and if the guy was charged and found guilty of sexual harassment, yes you can post this all over town, if not its slander and you could get in a lot of trouble for it.

oh and check around the car wash for signs that "say not responsible for damages" to your car, thats how they try to get off, and why i hand wash all my cars.

i got the popp report and i did call the cops. here is their sign i took a photo of.

not sure if he was convicted that news article is all i can find.

how so? it costs 5 bucks for car wash soap, it lasts a year, one car wash at some douche bags place cost 10 bucks here, and you get a crappy car wash. and a bunch of Mexicans who drag their belt buckles all over the car when they dry it off, and i don't get flats or stuff ripped off my car. i like my stuff to be as good looking as possible, thats not weird.

I said Werd....not weird..lol I never let other people wash my car

you dont need a lawyer, go tot he court house and file the paper work, it costs like 25 bucks to file a claim, most of the time they will just pay you out, and then tell him you want your filing fees too. it will cost him more to go to court over this kind of stuff.

I hate to say this man but I'd just replace the tire and eat the cost.. Most times when you get courts involved at your end, you'll end up paying more than what the tire is worth. Small claims can be the same way too... I never go through auto car washes anymore for this same reason.

Don't disclaimers for car-washes like that state that they cover damages unless that damaged part is aftermarket?
