carwash incident

well most people buy the washes from the gas station next door so i could stand outside there and they would have no idea until an angry mexican goes to talk to him

Dude that sucks! I had a rim messed up by one of them car washes and owner found me a whole new set of stock rims which was kick ass! This guy seems like a total tool

At first im like oh he's just tickling him when I watched the video until they played the sound and the employe asks for a raise and the manager asks him to suck his d$ck...haha

The hardware I work at, the owner also owns a car wash across the street. He had a car go thru and it got all 4 rims...they wrote him a letter and he paid for new rims. No court involved.

Its always the male bosses taking advantage...if only my boss (a hot 40 something honey) would take advantage of me. :th_thumb-up:

moral of the story: don't go through car washes with your nice car.

replace the tire and move along. you're wasting valuable time and effort.

Agreed, unless your time isn't that valuable (you work as a pizza delivery driver...) then go ahead and file through small claims court.

If you were to hand out those letters and the owner took offense to it, he could sue you in turn for Defamation of Character and follow up with a suit of his own. I wouldn't do anything like that if I were you. Don't make it personal... In the end of it all, it's still business.

If someone else posted it, I didn't read it...

The sign says they're not responsible for non factory items. Your wheels aren't factory. They'll argue that they're wider than stock, and that it was your own risk driving in there.

By the time lawyer fees get figured out, it might not even be worth pursuing.

Two hours of a lawyers time = $200 or more.

well i sent him an email threatening to go to the media with it and informed him i filed a complaint with the BBB and he asked for my address for a check to be mailed to :)

i win.

good. why cut your losses when some one else is liable for them. they use aftermarket as a blanket term so that they are not held liable for that ricers 5 foot wing that falls off when it gets caught on the hanging spongey things ect.. a popped tire is completely different
