• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Car Pictures

Super duper shiny white. :D

I love white cars

Same dude. I pretty much took about 8-9 years off of my paintjob on the last polish/wax that I did to her. I was literally like an inch away taking off every little spec...Needless to say, I found out my car is way whiter than I originally thought ahhaha.

So I finally got the motivation to paint the door bumpers (they needed it because there was some kind of weird deterioration going on, which looked like some plastic-eating mold) on my car...

...And then I run out of painter's tape after the first door.

^ I'm hoping the other black trim I'll add later will help the overall look balance out.

were they black before?
They've been white, but if I painted them white, it would've been off and I would see it every day I drive somewhere. (I work with color a lot with web design, and small differences stand out to me.)

how much tape did you use? lol
I had just barely enough to cover the whole door!

I only had enough left on the roll to get the edges, and I taped covering on with duct tape.

use the tape along the outside of the door guard. , maybe 2 rows of it., then a few layers of newspaper taped onto that tape, done and done, don't waste tape

why not use newspaper or plastic? taped to the edge of the molding. a sheet on top and a sheet on the bottom and down the sides at the ends, aka fenders and quarters. that should cover a lot of door.

thats how i did my window trim the first time. had the whole side of the car covered in news paper, and taped off at the edge where the paint line was.

Both cars above are a big pair of titties, only gripe would be bullitts and those headlight covers need some gloss.
