Back when I joined I mentioned this modification I made, but didn't have a picture of it. Today I finally got around to finding my camera and getting a picture:
It's not the coolest aero mod out there, but I was able to do it for free with some scrap sheet aluminum. I get a lot less road noise and slightly better mileage.
I've always been interested in functional aero mods what would help with mileage. Does this keep the air flowing past the wheel and not into the well? Getting rid of the low pressure? What about the front?
I've been wanting to get mud flaps so I'm sure they'll do the same thing.
