• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Car Pictures

Heres my 200K mile 1999 GTP. Only had it a few months but it has taken this long to bring it up to this level- presentable enough for pics, that is. I have lots of appearance issues yet to deal with, and a few mechanical ones ... and I'm working on it! But heres how she sits today. Everything works and it drives nice.

My only variations from stock so far:

De-badge scripts and paint arrowhead. JVC media reciever. K&N air filter was on it when I got it. ZZP 2.5" DP w/cat & emulator (had it on my previous GT).

Yeah none of the ones I've seen here are rusty. Somebody really babied this one until it had over 100k. The story goes that the engine and trans were rebuilt at 100K by older adult original owners. It runs like it has 100K, trans might be getting a little tired. I have zero mercy and jam either pedal hard.

Ohh love pic threads...heres my '04 GT with sucky OEM lighting:th_yawning:

No mods yet...but plan on some Retros and some fresh rubber all around...other than that i'm happy to run it in stock form...it is a very good runner...hard to believe it has 202900 miles on the clock...It has some quirks but most are related to wintertime...car hates cold weather...who doesnt...:th_winking: Oh would love to change out the cloth seats for leather ones...been looking on ebay and found a complete set front and rear going for about $600...:th_shakinghead2:
I bought this car back in late Sept of last year with 194K miles on it...My neighbor whom i bought it from has been the mechanic on this car with the original owner since day one. There were only a few minor issues with the car and those were taken care of. Body and paint are not perfect and cloth interior shows dirt too easily...but mechanically its as good as it gets. Last week i got 29 mpg on my weekly commute...:th_biggrin2:

I was kidding lol, I live in the country too. It amazing how much dirt and rocks get in your car whenever you don't park on concrete\pavement. Nate, Your car looks better than ever, love the tips!
