Car Damaged by walmart shop

GO TO YOUTUBE TYPE IN SHANK IT TOY THERES A LITTLE GIRL THAT just GOT A NEW TOY AND THERES A SHANK IN THE TOY SHOWS YOU WHAT KINDA OF GARBAGE COMES FROM OVERSEAS NOOBS! HA

thats what happened to my Z24.. my brother took it into walmart for an oil change, they stripped the drain plug, two weeks later my niece took it to a friends shop because it was "making a funny noise" (knocking, in two cylinders) he took out the plug, sealed it up (it was 3.5qt low of oil) and put it back, when the knocking got worse, my brother took it back to WM, they are "not liable for any damage to the engine, since the paint mark had been removed"

needless to say, my brother now has oil changes done at the dealer.

I absolutely hate wal mart...99% if not 100% of the shyt they sell is made in some f*cked up country, most of the employees have the mindset of a baby chimp.

I resent that seeing as I work there. I HATE working there with every fiber of my being. Truly.

Oh Walmrt......what can you say about walmart, I can think of some things to say. I do go there only cause it's the closest thing to home.
They have 16 checkout lanes at the one I was just at today, 3 lanes were open and lines like crazy, people were pissed. Walmart employees standing around bull sh*tting.
Now they have the self check lanes and when you check yourself out half the stuff is not in the system, now someone has to go find the item on the shelf for a price check. Now everybody behind you is also getting pissed cause only 2 of the 4 self checkouts are open ....So one would think that since we check ourselves out we would get some sort of discount since we are doing their work.....right? I won't go to those self checkout lines.

a buddy of mine works at a quick oil change place and he tells me story's i cant believe, people driving into the pit, people losing oil plugs and using whatever fits, idk my friend is one of the only trained mechanics and he does my oil changes after work hours for free, and i believe ron white the comedian had a story about his wheel falling off after going to sears im not sure if its a true story but this reminds me of it

It fell OFF. Then I find out, Sears sent this guy to Tire Changing School for three days. Apparently he missed the lug nut day...

XD love that story!

This happens at many places besides wal-mart. I'm wondering if employees really are that untrained and completely daft or maybe its a combination of untrained & way-underpaid employees. I heard the other day the guys working at the local Dodge dealership only make 9$ an hour & they have to be trained by Dodge. (Dodge charges what 95$ an hour?) This could be a good reason why employees are screwing up ppls cars so frequently. =/

Training? Are u kiddin me? When I was 16 I worked at valvoline. Training? Yeah right. Places like that don't train people. They don't have to. They figure if a stupid untrained kid screws up a cars motor by not puttin oil back in it, they don't care cuz they r so huge they can afford to buy someone off. Its a crappy process. I never ruined anyones car. A guy I worked with forgot to put oil back in a spankin new ford diesel. Motor crapped out pretty quick. Another women wanted her cooling system flushed. When the guy got done he didn't put those crappy cross hose clamps back on the right way and all the coolant bled out eventually lockin up the motor. Sh** happens all the time. If I were anyone on here, stay clear of those kinda places. Ur just askin for trouble. Besides, changin ur oil is one of the first things someone should learn how to do on a car. U should just do it urself

I agree its too easy to change oil and pretty quick..do it urself.

at the shop I work at, WalMart is one of our best customers.... we fix all their f-ups, at least 5 a month (mostly stripped oil plugs, cross threaded/stripped wheel studs, etc).

Wal-mart's TLE employees should at the very least be made to watch training videos to prevent this. Happy to hear they bring business to other ppl though. Haha =D

I think its not lack of training its people who just dont care! I know if I worked in a place like that I would make sure everything was right just because I wouldn't want that to happen to me! People have lost respect!
