but it limits max boost, that's the point. you can just run a dumb pulley and dial it in to whatever you want.
if it fails the BBV should open, limiting boost to the max 4-6 psi or so like usual.
Except that the faster you spin the blower, the more heat it creates, and the more power it uses.
You'll make more power on 10psi with a 3.4 pulley, than 10psi with a 2.8 pulley.
understandable, but for someone who can apply that much boost effectively then it could have it's perks to be able to turn it down every so often.
I get 32 miles to the gallon in my 4.3. And i will pull my wynjammar 4.3 against your eatton 3.8 anyday.
