Hey i just bought a 2007 GP and wanted to put 18'' Saleen style rims with 255/45/18 tires. also maybe lower it an inch or so.

Anyone know if this will affect an active bumper to bumper warranty if i make these changes. i know i should pry call my warranty provider but just thought i would ask. thanks

You are changing the geometry of the suspension, so that'll be voided. You are putting a much larger stress on the drivetrain so it'll be voided.

Add the two together and likely they'll start laughing at you.

i dnt know if you have seen that white car around on this site before, do you have any idea how he pulls it off so good with these wheels and 30mm offset?

if you get a straight on picture from front or back youll see that the wheels/tires stick out past the fenders. that look terrible to me.

That is Milestone's GP. He rubs as far as I know from the last time I talked to him, so fenders were rolled

He is on SSC springs.

How much of warranty do you have left? It is a 2007, I can't imagine there being that much of a warranty on it.

he's running skinnier tires with less than optimal alignment specs. he's also running pretty low on a set of coilovers.

You could always swap the springs and wheels out if you need warranty work done. Other then that it'll void your warranty if you bring if to the dealer like that.

thats what im thinking. but i also want that aggresive look once lowered. AHH ill call the warranty companty tonight..

what set up are you rollin Drunkie? are those saleens as well in your sig?

~3.5" drop on coilovers with American Muscle Mustang GT500 Replica 19x8.5's 30mm offset with 235/45/19s, fenders are rolled flat all around and my splash shields are all cut up.

Probably one of those things you might of wanted to consider prior to buying a warranty. Pretty much you get one if you plan on leaving the car stockish besides aesthetics on that outside and maybe stereo. I'm sure they would tell you for certain once you give them a call but there's a bunch of hidden things that can void it just a FYI.

They are really picky with some of that stuff, they tried to void my warranty on my car because I had by Bluetooth OBDII adapter plugged in.
