New motor is lined up picking it up wed or thur and going in over the weekend.

At this point I would junk it. Can only jump start a old lady so many times before the dr says dude let her die.

If the motor goes.. drop a cheap L26 in and drive it. You'd be impressed by how nice it feels to never deal with another issue and know that you turn the key, drop it in gear without issues.

Congrats on single handedly reducing the amount of 3800's remaining in existance.

Dibs on the SE lip and grilles if you part it, but I hope it doesn't happen - this is a nice car, even though it seems to toast motors non-stop

I don't have a lip on it. I really want one but can't find a good deal on one. I was waiting on the billboost I told us so lol I have the Bonneville for reliability though

Hard to find them cheap, would love to have one on mine. Like I said, though, hope it all stays together! One of the nicer looking GPs out there

Thanks man. I found the reason it failed. Had a piece of rubber or something fall on the gasket before I the the head on. :( getting my motor tomorrow though. Should be running by Saturday

I put the rear head on in the car so it must have dropped on there when I was lining up the head with the studs
