ok well got it in last night..... AND.......



THE NEW TIMING CHAIN FIXED ALL MY PROBLEMS!! I am the happiest ever with my car right now lol.

i found out the problem was that the spring ont he tensioner got like sorta bent and also it skipped teeth on the cam gear and the whole thing was 90* off timing
 


Even w/o a chain...our stock chains/gears have so much meat that should never happen. And if you were 90 degrees off...it wouldn't be able to run. Not run well, wouldn't be able to run.

Glad that it's all good. And now..instead of working on it this weekend, you can drive it.

Matt..it's possible. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again (as long as there's a girl like you in my life) :D

I didn't ever notice the gear diff.
