broken motor mount

Anybody know what the dog bones connect to on the motor? looks like a bracket of some sort. Mine on the passenger side cracked and I can't find a replacement. please help. Motor shakes like crazy.

from the pics I have seen from autozone, nothing matches to what that is. is it a bracket that is on the motor? Or would that still be considered a motor mount? If I weld it back together it would not mess anything up will it?

I just did a little research and it seems like this is a common problem. I'd pick one up from the junkyard. Although welding probably won't mess anything up i'd probably be easier to just swap it out.

im confused what part of the dogbone broke? i mean. you have two dogbones..one of them is in tact. they look the exact same. look at the driver side and fix whats broke.

I think he is unsure of the part that the dogbones connect to the block..

well in that case. you're n/a. on the passenger side it's a black bracket, iirc it's u-shaped. go pick one up at the junkyard im not sure you'll find that at autozone or something.

It's going to be a JY or dealer part, or...someone on here part.

Is it the bracket that connects to the intake side of the motor or the belt side of the motor. I have an intake side bracket sitting in my garage if you want it.

that is exactly the part I am looking for. I am going to hit up the junk yard this weekend. The pic of yours is good. All nice and polished up.

Or, just put a cast iron L67 coil pack bracket on there and then you don't have to worry about the alummy one breaking again...

and how much did you pay for this part??

you could have just as easily got a GTP bracket and put it on there and it would have been stronger than that.

I was not able to find the right bracket at any junk yard around my house. The bracket was $70. Every auto part store told me that it was a dealer item only. So I had no choice but to go there.

Did you look for a supercharged bracket as well like I had stated?

I have one sitting here...you just would have had to pay me shipping for it...it's been sitting collecting dust.

Just a little late on that! I had to order from dealer because no junk yard in my area had anything for me. There were 2 gtp's I found but motors were pulled from them all ready. I just have to take a loss on this one.
