LMFAO i had to watch an ad saying " THANKS TO THE TROOPS WE CAN LIVE" before watching it.

It was hilarious seeing the newscasters talk down to him then turn around and basically babble about how adorable he is. :D

he just wants attention. just like every other american who won't stand up for it because it says the word "GOD" in it. People can get attention and believe in whatever religion they want to, but if you aren't going to support your country then GTFO
 
After watching that clip, sounds like the little "gay wad" is trying to protect his future right to marry, that being said, stand up and say your pledge, or you can take yourself and all the fags and ugly lesbians to France, they dont support anything either...:th_thumb-down:

He should be pledging allegiance to his COUNTRY, not his government. They are two separate entities.

When they say in that video that most of those propositions have been shot down, do they look at voter turn out?

Voting on major issues should be done in the fasion the aussies do, you must vote or you face a fine.

Hmm, thats weak because you're basically pledging allegiance to Obama. But isn't obama suppsed to provide liberty and justice for all? Not going to happen...

You claim this pledge is amazing, but its in the wrong order, you should be pledging allegiance to your country but that doesn't work out so well for your government now does it. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Standing up for the pledge of allegiance is a mark of respect, and no matter what your beliefs are, you stand up and respect the flag and your country, because it has given you a home, a place where you can belong even if everything in your life falls through, and support.

It is never about your beliefs, or how proud you are in your government, it policies or society. Your country is above all that - it is an ideal - and regardless of the government or society, you need to respect that ideal or GTFO. All those f** actors who said they would leave America if McCain won, should be thrown out anyway.

I would've slapped the kid.

Kid has good points and is smart i suppose but if he doesnt like it here send that little bastard to africa were the civil war is going on and see if they give a damn about gays or anything.

Well I was always told "If god don't like the way im living let him tell me" So for us to say O its wrong cause your gay blah blah..its stupid! And its even better that most churches feel that way and JUDGE them because they are that way but it in the bible it says "Thou shall not judge gods children" its just a big pile of crap that EVERYONE will ALWAYS fight over! But I believe the little boy is brave for standing up for what he believes in. I don't think he is dis-respecting his country by not standing. I dis approve of the war but doesnt mean I hate the troops who served and are serving!

I find that most people who say this now are the ones who were all for war directly after 9/11. We didnt even know who attacked us and 99% of the country wanted war. Now about 85% are turning around and saying it was Bush's fault. No it wasnt, the american people voted to go to war.
Im not accusing you of that slowm90 i just wanted to let people know how i feel:p

First off this kid is standing up for something weather or not people agree doesnt matter
I also dont see what the big deal is with the whole gay and les getting married thing other then money as in insurance and death benifits and so on Who cares what the next person does with their own life It not for any one to judge
He actually seems to be a somewhat intelligent kid and has found something to take a stand on for any one talking down to this kid or about him all i can say is
