Lol, just read some info on ModdedMustangs.com forum and under the "mods you regret" thread the number one thing is Flowmaster 40's exhaust LOL

It kinda depends on what kind of note you're looking for. I personally like something in between raspy and deep. A chambered muffler like the magnaflow you mentioned paired with an o/r xpipe will give you that. That is currently what I have on my Cobra(magnaflow catback, upr o/r x). My old 03 GT had LM1's and an slp o/r xpipe, raspy and hell, and that thing woke up the dead.


EDIT: and flowmasters sound like farts in a tin can.

yeah i want a nice deep sound that's not TOO raspy but still sounds damn good lol. As long as it doesn't sound like the shiit 3800. We're good haha.

I had the bassani catted x and borla stingers, I liked it alot. Minus the part where it sounded like a boat at idle. lol

thats flowmaster and it sounds pretty good on the stang imo, y do the forums say stay away from them? i know y we stay away from then on GP's but not stangs

hmm, Maybe it doesn't sound that nice on the inside? Not to mention the countless amounts of Mustangs out there that have the EXACT SAME exhaust setup..

alot of people have flowmasters becuase its a great exhaust sound for the stang, sure there other great sounding exhausts out there to but IMO its the best sounding exhaust on those stangs

It has BBK Longtubes, K&N Intake system, SCT Tuner, Flowmaster exhaust, H&R Lowering springs. It actually sounds pretty badass not even gonna lie. Not doing to bad for my first time driving a stick either. I'm getting the hang of it. :)
