• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Boost!?

You are actually pushing it down which lets the boost bypass valve close so that you can obtain maximum boost

do not adjust your BBV per that article. its stupid and will introduce burst knock to an already plauged setup.

leave it where it is. make sure it moves freely.

Im confused just leave it how it is? Is there any way to adjust it or should i get a new one would that help me get my boost back?

I've done what's mentioned in the article before on 2 vehicles. I never had any "burst" KR afterwards. Not to say someone else hasn't experienced it though.

Two things....1st: check your s/c belt and make sure its tight and not slipping. 2nd: Have a buddy hold up the bbv lever and you give it some gas and watch the boost. If it goes all the way up, your bbv is sticking, either replace it or spray some PB blaster on the lever and work it in and see if it frees it up.

Alright. Had my buddy hold the lever down while i gave it gas i got 6 or 7 psi i didnt have any pb blaster so i just used some wd40 and worked it in that did nothing so im pretty sure thats saying i need a new one... Do u think thats just showing im gettin 3psi and im getting the full 6 or 7 or if its reading 3 im getting 3? The reason i ask is bc i hit the throttle from under the hood and watched the lever and it went all the way down to where we were holding it open the first time
