• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Boost!?

Yes they do

To the op: you most likely have a vacuum leak somewhere, spray some carb cleaner or starting fluid around the motor until you hear a difference in the idle and where you sprayed it is your vacuum leak.

like all over or is there a spot i can just put it in and it go through all the vacuum lines? also i believe mine will only rev to about 5g's in park and the rev limiter hits

also the only time ive done it is when i checked the boost guage just hit it and only went to 3 so i hit it for a sec longer and it still only peaked at 3

Spray it along the vacuum lines and if you don't hear anything then check around the throttle body.

also might want to check the EGR tube where it meets with the LIM.

You literally have to remove it to see if its cracked. It doesn't respond to the carb/TB cleaner.

i did the whole spraying the vacumm lines with carb cleaner didnt hear any change in idle or anything. but when i unhooked the line out of the T right infront of the s/c snout i think it plugs into the gas press reg. (thats what the sticker under the hood said it was) and while it was unplugged i gave it some gas and the boost went up to 7-8 psi and the dash guage went almost all the way up i think all but 1 square was filled. so does this mean the gas press reg. is clogged or is that even possible?

idr what it read before but it went to 7 psi of boost i just did it again and now i only get to 4psi the vac. reads 19 pluged in or unplugged but i can hear the air being sucked in and when i hit the throttle under the hood and hold my finger over the line it sucks harder as i figured it would

alright today i went out and messed with it for a lil while lol i think i narrowed it down to the supercharger bypass actuator or valve what ever you want to call it i unhooke the the lines on both sides of it there is suction on both hose but when i hook one hose up there is no suction on the opposite end of the bypass valve even when there is throttle applied. does that mean that i need a new bypass? if so do you know any websites i can get one for cheap so far the ive found one on ebay for 45 bucks
