boost gauge problem

my throttle posistioning switch just went bad, so i had to replace it and now neither of my boost gauges seem to be working. The one on my gauge pod barely even moves, and the stock boost gauge is all over the place. The car seems to be running normal just wondering what is going on with those gauges,am I not boosting normally or is it not reading boost?

it was scanned today only code came up was for the throttle posistioning sensor, it doesn't really sound like a vac leak and its idling fine

i was running 10lbs and at aidle it was sitting on 0, not it sits to the left of 0 on the vac side and barely moves even at full throttle barely moves to 1 lb, and the stock boost gauge isn't reading anything

Is it not more likely to have vac leak from the lines leading to the MAP and boost gauge?

I trust they're hooked up to the T under the snout?

so the check engine light came back on, fuel filter was old needed a change bad, did that thought it solved the problem but now the lights back on, car is stalling when it gets to stop lights and at very low rpms like if you pulling out of your driveway, having major shifting issues too gear shifts are red lining and when it shifts its shifting very hard.

have you had the car scanned again yet?

check the wires coming off the plugs at each sensor too, they tend to dry up and get cracks in them. and they will throw a code for that sensor if cracked. i had to replace my maf and ait pig tails, they were toast.

scanned again came up as the throttle posistion switch which i just replaced, so I thought it was the circuit, it wasn't. Checked all the wires too there fine, next is using the soapy water try to find the vac leak

checked for vac leaks everywhere wit the fluid, found nothing, gonna change plugs and wires this weekend, its weird tho the car runs fine til it gets to normal engine temp then it starts acting up. I'll be driving down the street, come to a stop sign and instead of the rpms just gradually decreasing, theyll drop immediatly to 0 once i let of the gas, sputter then rpms will jump back up, or the car will just stall.

yeh but the car idles and turns on fine doesn't stall while idling or starting up, only if I'm coming off the highway or steppin on it a little once I slow down

throttle position sensors are non adjustable, although your pcm threw the code for your tps meaning its reading 0% throttle response. Insted of getting a new tps there is a relearn for your tps
Turn ignition key to on (but don't start engine) and leave it for 10 seconds, then turn it off for 10 seconds.
Then push the pedal down as far as it will go, turn ignition key back to on for 10 seconds again, then turn key off, then release pedal and wait another 10 seconds.
Repeat this 2-3 times to make sure it's got it. If you have a scanner you can verify it. With the ignition on and foot off the pedal it should now read 0% throttle, then push it down and the percent should rise until you are at 99-100% at WOT position

the sensor itself is non adjustable, but the pcm needs to know what is 100%

another thing, if it does it to u while your driving just temporary put it in 3 cause the rpms are higher then it wont kill on you trust me mine does the same thing.
