Maybe cause NO ONE reported it?

Instead of complaining about it, maybe you should have sent us a PM or reported the thread. As far as I know, NO ONE has his reported him for any abuse as of yet.

Maybe next time people will be more active in reporting these things. I am sorry I dont have all 24 hours of my day to sit here and watch each and every post. But it grinds my gears when I see people complaining that we are not do anything. It is kind of hard to do anything when NO ONE says anything about it.

But now that I have seen this.............I will look into it.

I did James...There had been multiple attempts to call but everyone else said it went straight to voicemail...hence why I hadn't bothered to call him. Picked up the phone this morning and he answered right away. Said he shipped out my fuel injectors a couple days ago along with whoever bought the fuel logs from him. If I get them in a day or two, I'm not going to raise anymore of a stink about it.

Looking at the picture, I would say he is using a mobile phone or something to do his web surfing. I am thinking RIGHT NOW is the time to get on the horn to the local police in his area and report his activities. Also if anyone has paid through paypal, it is best to start contacting them now.

This certainly smells of TDC all over again.

He told me that he worked at a dealership or autobody place...that picture kinda supports it.

Then again...I'm not going to jump for a few more days to see if he is BS'ing me or not.
 
So if someone uses their cell phone to go on here you can pinpoint the locaion of the phone? That's pretty sweet.
Yeah this seems kinda sketchy to me.

Geddy...I was doing business with him at the same time as these other two....I just got my stuff last week. I dont think he is trying to scam people. He has also said that he uses his friend internet when he gets a chance to come on here. I honestly do no think that this is a TDC situation. I had communication with him, but it was very spotty and was through his phone for the most part. He has even offfered different things to make it right such as throwing in extra things or offering a partial refund. Parker would never do those things... again, I seriously think he has honest intentions. Also in his parts for sale thread he said that he has too much stuff going on and that nothing is for sale until he can get things straightened out.(this was a week or two ago) Do what you wish, but I dont personally think this is a TDC situation...If you have any questions about all of this please contact me.

The only time that I ended up being able to reach him on that phone was during his lunch hour which is 11-12noon central time. He did return my phone call in the evening once. He also had voicemail, where I left several messages. There was a several day time spurt in there where the phone would not ring at all and go instead directly to VM. As far as I know there are only two people now who have ordered things and not gotten them. Selliot and blue... I dont know the guy personally or anything but I am just telling you my experience that he did eventually get me my stuff.

Well if he is using to surf the web via a wifi connection on his cell phone. It can basically pinpoint his location like GPS.

The marvels of modern technology :) NO ONE can hide now a days :)

And I appreciate your comments Liquid. I guess given how many were burned by TDC, I would rather be prepared ahead of time than to wait like everyone did before the roof came falling in.

I talked to him 2 days ago. He said he had shipped the injectors for me and the fuel logs for Selliot Monday or so? He said to keep him posted and wasn't planning on getting on the forums due to the family things that have been going on.

It sounds like he is doing the right thing so I'll just wait.

No one did a ip on TDC right away. Its late now but it could have been done. I also said that before mini said he got liqui's blower.

I am sorry you seem to have some anger built up. I wont question the moderation again..

That is my name, and I think that I would do the same if I were in your shoes. You do have up to 45 days to file a claim with paypal as well, if I understand their policy correctly. So as long as you dont mind that is what I would do. Wait and see I guess.

No one did an IP check at first cause TDC had been a long standing member of the boards, unfortunately, which played into his hands nicely. Everyone thought in earnest that something happened in his family, no one questioned it and kept placing orders. It wasn't until way later that people started piecing the puzzle together and realized they had been duped.

Still the fact is no one came forth right away to claim and funny business with TDC. Like what happened here, I jumped the gun no doubt, and I have to apologize to Boomer for placing him in such an unusual position. But given how similar events happened to TDC, it was hard not to think the worst.

My anger, if you will, is more of frustration when I see people somehow blame the admins for a lot of the things that go on here. I wish I had the time to sit here and study each post thoroughly, but I don't. Like many others here, I work a 40+ hour job a week and have been in classes for the past 4 months on top of that. Even Rocket and UR Losn have jobs that take them away for extended periods of time.

So this why we, the Admins and Mods, rely on our community to report things that sometimes slip past us. But unfortunately it seldom reaches us until its to late or the issue is mute.

So I hope you can understand :)
