bog down while accelerating

Hey guys! Once again a weird intermittent problem with my gtp...it looses power when driving randomly the engine will begin to bog down making the gas pedal harder to press and the engine will get louder than normal. I've changed quite alot in the last couple months but I can't seem to figure this out. I did FPR,LIM,UIM SUPERGASKET,WATER PUMP,FUEL FILTER,OIL CHANGE as of yesterday. Thought the oil change would help it definitely runs smoother.but I'm still having the.issue randomly.
oh and another thing when the car starts to bog I usually just let off the pedal fpr a few seconds then it gets better after that

I did read something about there being a primary fuel filter in the pump that needs to get changed? Is this true? If so I bet there's a write up for it!
 
theres a sock on the end of the f/p, not a filter really. there is a inline filter tho.

does the check engine light ever flash?

id start with a tune up, then maybe if it still acting up the cat could be clogged or broken up inside blocking the exhaust.
 


do the plugs and wires then, you'd be surprised what old plugs and wires can do. make it feel fine around town, get on it and it stumbles/bucks and has no power, let off and it goes again.
 
That's exactly what its doing! After all the work she's been running beautifully this is the only bad thing about her right now! Ill give it a shot today and we will see what happens after!
 
she goes under the knife again, well a little bit anyways lolmake sure you have a spark plug socket, one with a foam insert, this helps the plugs from breaking.
