Body Question

I have a question. My buddy was telling me that i could make my grand prix a v8 and rear wheel drive. He told me i could take a frame from a trans am or firebird and throw it on my grand prix. Does this work? And if it does does anyone have a link to it.

you'd be making a whole new car and your own custom frame. your friend IS an idiot. here is why:

a) putting the grand prix body on an fbody frame? LOL
b) why not use the fbody frame and body...with the motor it comes with...a v8...

possible? yes. cost effective? not even close. and as said so many others, why waste the time when you can find a v8 fbody for a heck of a lot cheaper. unless you have too much time, money, and motivation, just stick with a fwd prix or get an fbody. or corvette c5, that would still probably be cheaper than the custom job.
