Picked up another car last night! 2010 Mazda Speed3. Needed to get another 4 door for the soon to be family!
Runs high 13's from what i read. Fun car to drive.

Pics in a bit!

lol I refuse to have less that 3 vehicles so with that being said I need to get 2 more after I sold the 4 door and my 2 door got totaled before I had to go to Washington DC for a year. Not sure how I feel about the Mazda 3. At least its new and reliable I will say that.

After a week of driving it-

Still love it!

Dont like - the awful torque steer, the stock tires, clunky shifter, speakers suck, parts for this car are expensive.

Should have bought first gen...is cheaper too :p

Smiley3 is no go for me...even though they run good.

Mounts/Bracing + Bushings (which aren't that expensive) will do wonders for the TQ steer, my buddy had one.

Call me a hater but I'd rather mod the K24.

And carmax? Those bastards :D

k24 is fun in its own way.
gen 1 ms3's heat soak the i/c bad.
turboing the k24 is close to $6g's with everything needed (not counting a hondata)
The ms3 is a great dd overall, taller gearing than the k24.

Oh I'd do bolt-ons, or a jackson racing kit.

Wouldn't snail because of that reason...too pricey, I agree.

NOS I'd hope it'd make more than 340WHP, as the bolt-ons local one with a TBE, intake, front mount, tune, and other small crap made over 350WHP on pump gas...was a white one, at least that's what he said on the cruise. Was a quick car.

But this is the same style TMIC, what makes the 2nd gen heat soak less than the first is what I'm wondering...as a front mount would fix all the issues on either car.

no hood scoop on the gen 1's brah

with the timing chain and vvt recalls, an out of warranty ms3 would be dumb. If I want to spend 6 hours or more changing and lots of cashish doing it, i might have.
Peace of mind my brother. Peace of mind.

fawking hater.
