• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

BlackFlag's 2010 Speed3

did you just talk about modding a car and warranty in the same thread? LOL gotta pay to play and screw the warranties. Id rather do the work myself anyways rather than let some stealership ripoff touch any of my vehicles!!!

X1000 on modding the Honda bet it cost less for parts too.

Just bought a cai for this guy. Spent $240 because it dyno proven gives 20hp(from forums not brand propaganda)! Also this is the only cai that doesnt throw codes.
Kinda lame considering i spent $20 on my gtp intake....
Now i get a little extra power + turbo and bpv noise considering stock is no sound.
Kinda like dropping from a 3.8 to a 3.6ish on a gp car. Might not be that much but wtfevar!

I had a 3, spent $40 on the intake, knockoff ftw, never threw a code. you got fooled.
I did the same with my wife's 2007 3. I was sure I could make one for the speed 3 but after all the research sadly this was one of the cheapest options.

Glad you like the car. It's a perfect car for someone who wants speed, but still needs something very practical.

This car is incredibly hard to launch. You cant really drop the clutch, you have to feather it. Too little= bog, too much=smoke. VERY fine line!
Haven't raced anything yet...

just put a cork sport billet rear mount, tip and sri on a friends '10 a few weeks ago. worst intake install ever lol. mount only took about 60 seconds though and it cleared up every hint of wheel hop on that car. Sweet car either way, the interior is wicked idk what anybody says. We took his to the track before we put the mods on it in the middle of the summer when I was running the gtp once. hes never been to a drag stip before in his life so he was running low 15's with it. he was launching off idle so it didn't wheel hop and break the trans or something. I told him to see if my MT ET's would bolt onto it but he wasn't interested lol. I got in it and made a pass having never driven or been in the car ever....not even on the street and ran a 14.40.

Rmm is next for sure. I can hear the motor knocking the firewall. TIP is happening when i convince the wife to buy it.
As far as Cai install goes it took less than 30 mins. I looked at the instructions and was like NO. It has to be easier. Sure enough it was. Just turn the wheels to the left and pop off the bottom fender wall, 3 ****ty plastic screws and put the filter on.
The hardest thing was not droping maf hexscrews into the bay.

I dont plan on doing anything "fun" until the warranty is up. Thats why i picked the cp-e. No codes thrown. AP is like $650 to tune codes out.
Make sure you get fp internals before you mess with the dp.
Im still a noob to the car though.
