• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

BGPM 2008, Sept. 4th - 6th

I was just wondering. Nah, I never had ANY problems with my PRJs themselves. It was with my new lines I ran from my hardline under the car to the rails. I screwed up by using flaring and tube nut (which was suggested by a local speed shop) on the hard line which sucked ass. The fix? By Earls tube adapters from summit solved the problems and no problems since then.

Paul said he changed from steel to stainless steel recently and it must take more tightening to get the pieces to mate. It's all good now. For a while I thought I would be driving my wifes Venture to BGPM this year.:o

Glad to hear you got the car up and running Lee!

Thanks Dave. You know me though, all of this additional stuff worries me when thinking about long road trips and potential for something "special" you can't buy just anywhere breaking.:o

Did you get Tom fixed up?

I am bolting stuff back on his engine today and wont be able to start it until tomorrow. I think he got ahold of Paul and said he would be able to help him get ahold of the guy if the pipe isnt going to work, but it looks just like yours all over again and bothers me! His steel donut is still stuck to the crossover pipe but it is deformed just like yours was since the angle is wrong. I am going to see if I can put it back together without it moving and hope for the best.... if not then you know the rest of the story!

I like what you did with mine.:th_thumbsup-wink:

Oh and we will be in Branson Thursday late in the afternoon/early evening.

^Happy to hear you got your car back together and running. Hope to see you and it there this year.

I know what its like to have a problem before this show...last year it was down to the wire trying to track down that pesky electrical issue.

~F~

I'll be there with the car but I doubt it will be tuned for the pulley drop from a 3.25 to a 3.0. Time to get the WB and HPTuners hooked up and have a look see.

Aint no Impala afraid of the track.
It may not run 10's, but it'll run with the rest of us. Don't be a pooty!

Mine is a special lady.

I don't want to be the one posting on a forum, about how something broke at the track. Those post always make me:th_shakinghead1:

Oh and it will run 10's

when being pulled by a truck that does 7's:p

Ahhh Lee, your car will EASILY surpase 10s!!!!

In the 1/8th mile :th_biggrin2: ! Gloria didnt specify :th_nanana:

James that may be doable but I will need to do some driveability tuning before any WOT tuning. Are those headers going to be on yet? Sorry I havent had a chance to get back to you I have been buried lately.

GlorriA
HaHa I forgot all about that!!
I took my beast down the track. I usually race illegally on the street in the TA. So, in Branson, was my first time on a track and I got 2nd in the bracket racing. In a car i never raced. And I'm a girl. So quit being a POOTY and take that wh@re down the track.

I'm jk don't be mad at me. ;)
But really, TRACK!

My apprehension comes from the fact that my car is the newest in the family and I can be without it. Our van is on it's last leg.

I paid to race, but we shall see. fwiw I've seen you race GTPLuv, and you don't race like a girl.:p

I am going down to the I-70 Meetup in KC with Reptile and Company. And we are going to be attempting to install them then. So YES hopefully they will be finished before Branson. We should be able to find some open areas to conduct the testing before doing WOT runs :)

anybody that's going to the BGPM are traveling through chicago or near chicago? i like to follow someone.

Sorry man we are half way between you and Branson. If you plan on being in ST Louis early thrusday afternoon you can follow me following TooMch.

James when are you going?

Dave, I may be able to pull off a 10 sec 1/8:eek: it sure is a lot easier to break the tires loose while cruising...maybe too easy:th_shakinghead2::th_biggrin2:
