never said i was a lighting pro, but a good cutoff should look like this:

now, it really depends on the bulb setup in general, but thats at 30 ft and that line is still crisp. i know the farther out you go the more scattered it will get. i just think if youre going to do it you should do it right. these make me hate my halogen projectors:

Nobody has been able to take the lights apart. The people who have tried have said that the lights are brittle and would crack.

Well its getting done. Whats wrong with the cutoff line i posted? The first pic is the same thing except its a single projector whereas the picture i posted was clearly two projectors combined.

The fact you can clearly see the cutoff line isn't instaneous like the one bio posted.
