Barely gets up to 30mph??

Hey was happening everyone.. Im putting feelers out cause im kindof stumped. I have a 01 GP with the 3100 VIN J motor. It idles and revs jut fine but if i try to drive it then it spits and sputters and can barely get up to 30mph and smells like rotten eggs. no CEL light. I have replaced the plugs, wires, ign module,fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter.. anyone have this happen to them?
 


I know I'm no expert on this, and there are some people on these forums that are, but I know that you can try unplugging your MAF sensor and try driving like that, if it works much better, you need a new maf.

The reason I'm posting is because I've experienced the rotten eggs smell before. It was when raw gas goes through the cat as far as I know. Maybe running too rich or misfiring, although you said it ran fine in park. You'll need much more input from more experienced forum members.

Ok nevermind, these more experienced members chimed in while I was typing, lol.
 


no whast he meens is if you hit on the cat while its cold then you will hear it rattle. Also if you take it ffor a long drive at night and look under at the cat it will most likly be cherry red. This im pretty positive is a clogged cat.
