Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Bakerdd"s '99 GT: Project stance

Thanks guys, i'm gonna finally try and find another white fender and then start looking into some mufflers. Right now though i'm trying to find some nice centercaps for my wheels. I really dont like the ones they came with

As for mufflers, just get rid of the cat and keep the stockers. Sounds pretty good.

Get some cans for the center caps. With just a little persuasion a regular size can just slips over the XXR center caps.

I just want some big shiny mufflers more for the look than the sound haha. And I like the can idea but I didnt want to copy you

Love the low. Not a fan of the new wheels but meh, they still look good. Just out of curiosity you have any other pics of the struts before they went on the car?

Thanks. These are about all I have and some of them are kinda dark

So i drove up to the autofair in charlotte today and had a good time meeting everyone and hanging out. I'm pretty frustrated with my bags though. I still havent gotten them to ride very smooth but i always just figured that they werent adjusted correct as far as psi and dampening and stuff. I've tried messing around with it here and there but decided to make it a point to figure it out today seeing as i had a 3 hour drive and plenty of road to try and dial it in. I must have stopped at least 10 or 12 times at gas stations and stuff to adjust things. No matter what i tried it didnt help. Softer and harder dampening, higher and lower psi and just about every mixture i could think of but i didnt make any progress. It was a 3 hour drive of constant bouncing up and down and i really dont know what to do anymore to get the damn thing to ride smooth. Its really making me mad and on top of that someone smashed my tail light last night. So i'm kind of stuck right now

I assume theyre airlift struts but i dont know for sure. And i got them used so who knows how many miles. I really hope they arent totally worn out though but I dont know what else it might be

Bad struts do cause a bouncy ride

I didn't realize that they're adjustable. Probably worthwhile to shoot the company an email on the struts.

You know guys, I don't really even want to mess with it anymore. I spent a good part of today still trying to dial it in and it seems to ride better when its higher up. Like stock ride height... Which pretty much defeats the whole purpose of what I wanted to do. I'm gonna just get rid of everything I think and go buy a better platform for low and just start fresh. I haven't decided if I should part out the suspension or just sell it as a whole car, but I want to pick up like a 95 or 96 lexus ls 400.

Just put your car back to stock. Much easier to sell and you can use the bags on the Lexus if you go that way.
