Bad Parents - Reproduction Should Not be a Right

People I know, call them semi-friends if you will, foster children for the income. They usually care for 3 kids at a time, some of which are retarded. These children are introduced to this world by people that cannot even care for themselves. What blows my Canadian mind is that my semi-friends informed me that the mother of their current lot of children is expecting again. Why in all hell do we live in a world where it is allowable for somebody to reproduce a 4th child when they cannot maintain sobreity long enough to visit their other three? Not sober enough for visitation!

Furthermore, my f-ing taxes are paying for the ***** to continue her reproductive habits. So the only thing working on her is her uterus. Fostering 3 kids grosses about 60k per year, or so I hear.

Put me in charge of a country. Ovaries? GONE.

i agree i am the first of 4 but i was fortunate to have been taken away by my grandparents who took my mom to court, who has then had 3 more after me, 2 are in foster car, most recent one lives with his father one week my mom 1 week

I ****ing agree. They argue that SEX IS A RIGHT. Morons will sit there and defend their right to sex is more important than the lives of the children themselves they bring into the world because of their actions in the first place.

I def agree. My sister had 1 kid and she died after two weeks from complications, then she had another and he had heart surgery when he was a month old and she didn't stay with him at the hospital or anything so my brother and his wife adopted him, then she has ANOTHER kid and he got take away from her because she was arrested for making meth in her apt with him there and she was taking the stuff to. Now she's in prison and he's with my mom and dad and i try to spend as much time with him as i can cuz the poor kid needs someone to look up to. Sorry i needed to rant to lol

A lot of it is dependent on the level of socialization and education of the parents. Western countries aren't exactly collectivist... We only care about ourselves...

So basically if society took the time to help each other we wouldn't have such severe problems and we would not be complaining about how other people are having a negative effect on our lives. China clearly implemented population control, but this would not work well in western countries for political reasons... Having children only when you are psychologically, physically, and financially secure is difficult for many people. For people that think abortion is murder or just plain wrong, but don't use at least one form of contraceptive... Obviously don't think about the consequences it will have on society or the individual they brought into the world. In addition it may not be completely their fault as previously mentioned, they just don't know better and society on the whole are only willing to complain rather than help fix the problem.

As a side note I think our culture propagates the idea that for males having multiple sexual partners is an ideal for a "man" and limited for a "women"... the majority of "teen pregnancies" are the result of non teenage males. So for American males it's all about getting it in, but we rarely think about what if we get someone pregnant... Majority of people on welfare are single female mothers... Where are the dads??? Aside from the consequences of fathering a child I think about how a lot of people have HSV1/cold sores and it can be spread to your genitals, gross and painful. So basically i only enter into committed relationships and full STD panel, lol. Less sex while not in a relationship, but the world is with less single moms and spreading of diseases.

Sounds kinda like my wifes cuz she has 3 kids already none of them live with her her grandmother was nice enuf to take the first kid. The other 2 are long gone by the state and she has another kid on the way. Don't know how the hell she cant keep her legs closed or at least take some birth control. It just makes u wana beat some sense into someone.

I have a friend that lives with her parents because she has no job, gets social security or some similar goverment paycheck of like 600 per month, welfare, food stamps, and money from her parents... car is paid for, home is provided... the money doesn't go to her 3 KIDS!!!, it feeds her drug habits and what ever she wants to blow the couple grand per month on.
I work 40 hrs a week to provide for myself, my girlfriend, and we don't live great but the bills are paid and shes going to school full time so we can make it in this world... and my taxes are going to that ***** that has no goals or aspirations, but is a "fit parent" according to the government, for whatever reason... its stupid

It reminds me of this guy, someone did the math and he brought in 150k/year and the government paid for the kids school, medical/dental/w/e, and he was considered and Entrepreneur!!! He was a drug dealer that stayed at home and raked in several times the amount I do working my ass off everyday... sometimes I just want to shoot these types of people...o wait someone did

Cute kid, I call him my brophew because mom and dad adopted him, I couldn't because i live out of state and they said it could take up to 2 years of him being in foster care before i could get him.
