Resident ZZP Leg Humper
Good friend of mine who I've posted about before totaled his car today. 900whp Twin Turbo Cobra clone. His Intermediate Shaft separated going around an S curve on the expressway.. His car was my cars clone while I had it plastidipped orange.

His roll cage definitely did it's job, as well as his BRIDE Race seat and harness. Kept his ass planted through it all. Hit the wall at 80mph, that whole side of the car would have been caved in if it wasn't for his cage.

Oh... oh wow. That made me cringe a little. I knew it was coming with reading "broken intermediate shaft", "s-turn", "hit the wall at 80"

But DAM! Glad to hear he was ok and the car was the only casualty. Will take ALOT of buffing pads to fix that.
 
that sucks about the car but at least he came out good. not really smart going 80 through the s curve though
 


Glad he's ok. Thank god for the cage & seat/harness. It's a shame to see so much time and effort go down the drain but there will always be more cars out there.
 
Impound lot yes. I'm talking with him about getting the cobra spoiler, the motor trans and rear end he's keeping.
 
How bad is the unibody bent? I've seen a lot worse at 80+. Good to hear he got out ok. I'd get it back and part it out if it's not rebuildable. Hate to see all that work go for just the drivetrain and a spoiler.
 


Kudos for him on putting in the proper safety equipment and not doing a huge build w/o thinking about safety. Gives him a chance to have fun another day.
 
It's too bad the wheels were toast.

Super clean looking SN95, sad it happened the way it did...but that can all be replaced. He can't.

that sucks, looked like a well build car. for a ford. i had to add that part, im not a ford fan....but still hate to see a well build car trashed.
