• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

AWD>RWD.........right

Why does the car have slicks the whole way around?

who the cobra?

Because its running narrow slicks up front, to reduce rotational mass and the slicks help grip for steering in case of emergency, althought they will do very little at 150mph

so im failing to see the point here... a street car lost to a trailored in drag car on slicks with a damn parachute ....

X2^^ A high 8sec against a lets say low 11sec one? heads up! the guy in the evo got played! I mean i could see a cpl cars to the evo or a cpl n the leave, now that would b close race! :burnrubber0:

The point, was that this was a callout (by a built evo) gone bad. And, that with the right setup, RWD>AWD....

From what I understand, EVO guy know what the Cobra had, and what he ran. He just thought things would work out different on the street.

I'm guessing staying with the stock cams was a dollar/per hp deal. 2-3K for some custom grind turbo cams would probably net him an extra 100 horsepower or so(best guess). I've seen similar setups at around 20 psi see gains of around 100 hp by going with turbo cams over the stockers. And in most other applications custom grind cams are good for 30-40 hp. Though they are blower cams, they work pretty well with turbo setups. It's an expensive mod for the money for these DOHC motors, and one of the last mods you'll see on the to do list.

I don't know what the EVO runs, but its a 700 whp car...
