What's the average mpg with egr delete headers intercooler 1.9 rockers and a 3.0 pulley I am starting with a new tune and I am seeing 7mpg in town along with other mods

my mpg really haven't changed since adding my mods. list in my sig.

and if you just put the battery back on the avg starts form 0 and has to work its way back up. if your in the gas a lot local it will never get past 10 or 12.

I can send you the tune I am running now I know I need to increase timing but I am wondering if the loss of mpg is due to me removing my egr when I installed my headers I had a leak after at the egr tube that's why I removed it

Are you basing your mpg off of the DiC or are you actually doing the math and calculating it? 7 seems low

Dic says 6-7 lately after the tune it's mostly a overkill tune I had I have been driving aggressively and max speed limit is 34-45 mph in town a full tank will last exactly a week I think a average of 7 miles a day driving

No codes would a stage 2 ported t.b. with a increase on the maf table change the mpg on the dic

ummm....stop driving like an ASSHOLE! should improve your MPG significantly. you arent even getting 7MPG if you are using a 17 gallon tank driving 7 miles/day; 7 days/week...you are getting like 3. no way that is right.

This. If you are driving 7 miles a day, then 7 miles times 7 days is 49 miles. 49 miles divided by 17 gallons is 2.88 mpg. If your mileage was that bad, you would know it.

I am mostly going by the dic after resetting it and continuously driving I found that it also take the time idling into it's calculation I believe it's because of the time I let it run at idle for cold start 20-30 min a morning I know I am getting around 15 in town

I also have an Overkill tune with most of my driving being long roads 40-55MPH I get about 16.5 mpg. Car has never run well with that tune though..

I just got my car on the road and took it for a hwy drive and it was 15+. got to some back roads and had some fun it quickly dropped to 8. and just driving in town its around 13. So i sumize that as long as your drive with your foot up its ass you will continue to see that kind of mpg
