AUX / Line In ?

Hello, i'm brand new here. I just purchased a 97 GTP, and i would really like to be able to listen to music from an outside source (phone/psp). This car has the standard cd unit (no disc changer or other aux feature), and the cd player itself is broken (e20). Is it at all possible to run an aux / line in to this unit, or will i be forced to scrap it? I'd be willing to do this in any sort of ghetto way, even if it is "ugly". I am also willing to sacrifice any other functionality of the unit (cd/radio). Is this possible?

Based on the fact that i have not found any information on this here or elsewhere, i'm assuming the answer is no...

Its simple. Get a 90s GM tape deck and its cable that runs to the radio. Plug the harness to the cassette deck and into your radio at the back, cut the middle 3 audio wires in that harness and splice a 3.5mm jack onto it. press cd/play twice to activate.

More details here.

this looks pretty interesting supersport... i may give something like this a try.

i also found this:
Adding Auxiliary Input to a Car Stereo

which seems like it may/may not work on this kind of player, but if it does, the lack of required equipment would be nice.

edit: ok, so this is almost definitely works, i found a modded one on ebay! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-0...OD-MP3-CD-AUX-IN-/120590546038#ht_1703wt_1161

anybody know where i might find a some more info on the circuit board inside the unit? it is delco part#16228082
