• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

As was requested. The BMW Isetta 600. Start to finish.

but how do you know they will sell it?

When her dad bought the fields around the property they got the property so i'll be getting it for free as I don't believe there's anyone left living in the family that owned the property its on. Its a small town so it isn't uncommon out there for the last of a generation to die and have noone for the property to go to. If there was a title to it there isn't one anymore so i'm gonna have to jump through hoops to get that. But yea I just gotta figure out how to free it from the earth to load it on a trailer and its mine.

so its on your fiance's dads land?

im sure you'll figure it out its not stuck in there as bad as this one is i was talking to this guy back when this video first popped up on cardomain, i never get tired of watching this video its awesome!

Drop a hyabusa engine in it. :D

Its got a 583cc flat twin motorcycle engine in it so I can drip any motorcycle engine in it just gotta configure it to the 4 speed trans in it and figure out how to put a reverse in it. I've thought about that already :D

id sub, but by the time this is finished if im still on a w body im probably going to have been dead due to gunshot wound to the head.
but yeah, looks like its gonna be full of frustrations. and fun.
all original correct?

All original. any parts I buy will be original not reproduction and if I can get the man power (which it sounds like I will thanks to my classmates) I can have it done in about five years or less. Maybe even a year and a half to two years

You sure this thing is fixable?I am looking at that interior shot with the steering wheel and what you paying for it?

Interior is shot so need a whole new interior having my buddy tear down the engine and trans cuz they're both probably seized up. Body isn't horrendous but needs a lot of work. As for the steering wheel just gotta take that off and slide the shaft back in (that's what she said lol) so that's easy.

That is correct...... and holy **** yea i'm lucky.

been there haha. ha throwing tools, swearing, blood. just walk away and come back to it the next day.

couple tips. take lots of pictures, baggies and a sharpie are your friend, and make small goals instead of trying to do everything at once.

Yea baggies are how we do things at school. I've already got the first bit planned out. Get the car home and then i'm gonna have a buddy help me pull the engine and transmission and i'm gonna have him and one of his friends work on getting those cleaned out. While that's going on i'm going to slide the steering column back together and see if I can straighten the roof panel and if not i'm gonna cut out the roof skin and weld in a new one. Back hatch I already partially straightened. Gotta get a lock smith to make new keys and try to get new handles. Then gotta weld a patch in the gas tank and try to pound out the buck shot dents.... then comes the fun part... re-fabricating the floor boards.... then there's the dead interior. Need to order new panels, seats, and start fabricating a spot for a stereo and speakers. Once its at least running I can drive it around and learn stick then I gotta start getting an idea of how i'm gonna modify it for a larger engine (i'm thinking about dropping in a 'busa as was suggested above not sure how the trans will work but i'll have to figure that out later) while trying to figure out dimensions and such i'll be doing final body work and getting it ready for paint. Going to keep original paint style of course. Main reason I want a larger engine is because I really don't feel like driving 64mph pedal to the floor. Might put on some slightly larger tubeless tires. Before I can drive it for sure I gotta get all the wiring figured out and see if I still have headlights and such. The final and most difficult part will be jumping through hoops to obtain a title. Can't wait to see the strange looks i'm gonna get driving through town. But that's the basic plan of action

Well i'll be working on that for a while..... Idk how it'll even work. Lol been trying to do research

This'll be a little more difficult than I thought.... as far as I know nobody is living from that property to conduct a lien for the vehicle title..... Idk I can order a new title online.... but it'll cost me 900 bucks... **** that.

maybe might be a good idea to get off the internet and go see a physical person.. im sure youre not the first person to find a car on the side of the road and want it

I talked to the dmv and I now have all of the info I need to find out if there is a surviving relative.
