Also, for our everyday driving there;s really no need to have the slotted or drilled rotor's. I use the Wagner rotor's from O'reilly's. A good quality rotor for stock application. Your rotor's might be part of the problem as well. I don't think the brake's changed much from the 97-03 GP'S to the 04-08 GP's. If I was in your shoe's and I wanted to wipe the slate clean so to speak I would go with the Wagner rotor's coupled with the "Thermoquiet's...I didn't know Performance Friction doesn't make pads for the 2007 GP. I have a 98 and a 01 GP that i put them on. Too bad as these are great pads. I've heard the Wagner Thermoquiet's are quet pads as well. They were my second choice. They have the backing shims as well to keep them quiet. They are a semi-metallic shoes. OEM shoe's might work but they are ceramic and ceramic tend to be hard on rotors. In your situation I would put my money on the Wagner's.....
