• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

anyone running pregen wheels

im painting mine gunmetal. polished or chromed 5 spokes look good. idk about black chrome tho. hyperblack might look good.

Here....let me add more confusion to the color choices, since you have a blue GP. These were on the 1000 (333 in blue) '92 Richard Petty Editions.

hmm paint scheme idea, thank you sir

6000ste awd ftw sir

You just reminded me that I sold them. :( Oh well. They're in your neck of the woods now. Some middle-aged guy who owns a trans shop came down with his tow truck and hauled both of them back up there a year apart from one another. Said they messed with a lot of Fieros at his shop, too.

Anyhow, to give some kind of reference to how those wheels would look ON a car...

BTW....looks like that pic was shot in '92?? :th_eyepopping: Man I miss that body style.

hmm in wisconsin?

theres a ton of hack "speed" shops up here and it get annoying.

i know no chance of finding a set of those, butt i can dream :)

Few questions:
Is there a part number on the Mesh Pregen's? I can only find them at one repro site for $130 each :(
What size tires are you guys running and pics please? (I just put a set of 225/60/16's on my Fat 5's and don't want to waste that expense; will they stretch safely?)
Also, anyone running an F-body setup under these? I would love to hear they fit since I want some 8" wide wheels, but I don't want to go back to my heavy GXP's :th_tongue2:

you will be fine with the 225/60/16s they barely "stretch"

i can get a p/n when i go home, and if i can find someone with the Fbody set up i will check clearence, it would be close but im not sure

Thanks for the response, Redline, but I got a bunch of good stuff right after my initial impatient post.

They seem to be option code 1660 and I have found a few, all over, for good prices. The problem is everyone has 2 or 3 of them that match, and not a full set.
And I know the '97+ twisted crosslace don't fit, but it seems that with the additional offset and width, these will clear the brakes!
This is good news!

I also dug up some part numbers, after about 3 hours of diving into refurbished-wheel-Hell:
12518366
12518367
12512817
10140677

$200 is nothing for a rare set of rims. Gas money comes and goes. It'd be sweet to say you own those.
