Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone have a pic?

I assume this is the one with 2 that goes up there? And on the starter I have a ton of red wires. Feeling something is probably wrong =P

what happened here? your putting it back together but did not take it a part? or has it just been apart for to long?<br/>

Well no I didn't take it apart. I had 2 guys in Automotive where I go to college help me take it apart, they took it apart while I cammed and put together the new engine. Then school got done for the summer and they went back home so I get to do everything else myself. My grandpa kinda helps me when him and I don't have work.. Sorry for the lack of knowledge. Literally the first time I've ever done anything like this. Been fun in its own way.. haha

heres what we need to do take all the large cables off the starter, only the red one goes on there. and maybe one more, but it should have a odd eye loop with a tab on the sides some times.

the black ones trace them back to where ever they lead you too. you want the battery ground cable (black one leads across the front of the car to the battery ) goes on the tranny stud.

first pic move those wires to the main ground stud too.

damn that kinda sucks and dont. at least you had the help but now because you didn't partake in that part your in the dark.

you in the home stretch it seems. wont be long now.

See I was confused because in that picture I just posted of my starter the wires turn red a few inches up. You can see it in the picture. And the big wire on the starter has a tab tha is set in a groove. I assume that one stays there? =P

Yeah. They thought we would have it done by now but things kept breaking and then we would have to wait to replace them. Also, we only had about 4 hours every Friday to work on this thing during the semester. So a total of like 25 hours invested in this project

I now have this. 3 wires on that negative tranny stud. Theres no more room on it. There is the big negative battery cable on it, and 2 negative wires that are in like one sheath kinda thing

This is where I'm at now. The orange cable and other 2 cables I'm not sure where to put them. And on the starter is a little purple cable. That goes there, correct?

Its hard to trace back because its in the huge wiring harness wrap thing but it has the red cover thing on it so I would say its the positive battery cable. And its the only eyeloop with the tab on the side. It slides into a groove on the starter

What year is this? I believe he had it correct Scott.. different years do different stuff.

I've got a few pics. BTW that ground is on the wrong stud.

this is by the ICM

Ground on teh trans stud with teh other two small grounds

Starter power appears like it's the main battery cable and the other couple loops you had

Mine's a 99
I have the ICM ground wire in the place it belongs. I have pictures on my old phone of where it goes from the first time I replaced my LIM gasgets and what not when I found out I actually had a blown piston.
So the big red cable and the orwnge cable both go on the starter? That leaves me with 2 more lines that are wrapped with eachother that I'm not sure where they go
