I posted here back a couple weeks ago about my 1 amp getting extremely hot, forcing it to shut itself down. Lots of people were telling me different things and the most i thought made sense, was to get a bigger amp. Well even the one that i just got is getting extremely hot like the last 1, literally hot to the touch. Here is the new amp i just got:

Now here is the specs of my little amp and subs:

Why the hell is my "bigger" amp still getting hot? Do i need to get a bigger wattage wiring kit? I have no idea what wattage kit i have now, i cannot for the life of me remember.

HELP!!!!

Probably. Take it to an Auto sound shop and ask them for help in tuning your subs. You do not want everything on max. Most places around here will help out with no problems.

Do you think wiring could be an issue also? Possibly needing to get a high wattage kit?

As far as wattage goes, i have no clue. I was an idiot when buying the kit because i didnt even look at the packaging. I was with someone at the time an he had said it would be good. Anyways, im running 8gauge

I have to ask, what the hell is point of having such a high gain level if you cant turn the damn thing up? Im so sorry if this is a stupid question, i never quite got to learn about all these things.

"Goes to adjust the gain."

Ok. Well 1 last stupid question, if this amp gets crazy hot still, whats my next step to be? Take it to the audio shop like you said?
