My wifes car is whineing like crazy. When you start the car in the morning it is pretty loud. You can hear it in the house from the driveway. When you accelerate it gets louder until you get into second gear or so and goes away. This all started after I was trying to burp the coolant system and splashed coolant onto the belt. When she makes it home from work the car is nice and hot and doesn't whine anymore unless you up the rpm. Anybody ever have this problem? I dont want to change the alt unless i know it is in for sure. The belt looks fine visually but I guess I could be missing something also.
