• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have a 2000 GTP supercharged car. The A/C is dual control and has been working fine so far until one day it went warm on the drivers side and stayed cool on the passenger side. By the time I went to the mechanic both sides were warm. I had it recharged which worked perfectly for 5 days when the whole system went warm again. The heat workes perfectly. He checked for leaks but couldn't find any saying it was the evaporator that was leaking. I am REALLY hoping this is not the case and maybe it's a sensor? I did have a sensor replaced years ago. The other thing that might have affected it was I had water pooling on my passenger side which could have effected the system. There are no codes, no warning lights and the fuses are fine.
Any ideas?

I'd bet it's the compressor they leak when they get old and don't really show any signs of leaking.

when you have a a/c leak there will be a oily dark slime at the leak area. (or be really dirty looking) check fittings from hose to pipe and at the sensors where they screw in, any where a connection is.

if it went warm, you recharged it and 5 days later its warm again, you have a leak.
