Right, because that happens all the time. If something makes it past the filter, into the t.b, around and around in the blower and then comes out of the blower with such amazing force that even chuck Norris won't stand a chance and destroys your intercooler which then allows half a gallon of water or coolant into your intake it'd be screwed. I think at that point more then enough hell has rained down on to the car that worrying about having a dicked short block as well is not such a big deal. Ive yet to see a damaged ic core in the last 8 years I've been around, so I find this not likely to happen, but I'd like to be proved wrong. So you can tell me Im a retard.

no need to get your panties in a bunch. :p

Well, I don't agree with throwing the word "retard" around.

Have you ever heard of thermal stress? Nobody is worried about the intake sucking in a pigeon and blowing up the engine, by the way. Where I live, the temperature is -26C right now. That presents a huge thermal gradient when the engine begins warming up. That accounts for most of my concern when running the W2A units. It sounds as though most people have excellent reliability with W2A, so there should be nothing to worry about.

Happy intercooling.

well, now that we just had our first callout of a member who has known to be a scammer and has been MIA for a very long time...this thread is done.
