i just bought an aerofoce scan gauge and it has that feature where the red lights come on depending how you set it well i cant seem to disable it or change it, i turn annunciator mode off then it goes away until i turn the car off and back on then annunciator mode is back on again!! i tried setting it to something that would never have those stupid red lights come on but i cant change that either!!! there always on its driving me insane im about 2 seconds away from trashing this thing!! please help
 


If it wasnt saturday, I would contact aeroforce themselves.

I can't say I've had that issue, once I turn that feature off you just unpluged it, it would reset to the default.
 
ive unplugged it, did nothing just resets to having that feature on. ive turned it off (like i said) once i turn the car off then back on the feature is on again
 
Hey asite, I have a question if you don't mind helping me out. I just, bought an aeroforce the other day and I can get the vacuum/boost. What does it show up as? Only place I can find it is in analogues. N I set slope to 14 n intercept to -14 and when I wot it doesn't fluctuate.
 
Boost is MAP in/hgs.

You have to read the MAP sensor to get real numbers, S/C cars run a 2 bar map.

So you'll see negative numbers for vacuum, like -19 to -20 at idle, then anything above 0 is boost.
 


Okay, map doesn't show up in the parameters for me so idk if I need to add it somehow or if its just not compatible with my car. Map, boost, vacuum, none of them are in my parameters.
 
Do I need to buy a 2 bar map or w.e it is? Or is that all stored in there? As you can see if I have no clue what I'm doing with these yet.
 
Okay I'm going to have to email wbodystore then n see if they gave me an old model because the MAP parameter doesn't show for me. Thanks

Go re-read your owners manual for that thing, you have to select which parameter you want to view.

There should be a setup menu where you can check and uncheck things you want to view, my guess is that the MAP is not selected, thus the reason its not showing up when you scroll through.
 


Lol so im not crazy, thats good. Ive read it up n down. I can find boost in analogues like I said, but isnt that for a separate guage to hook it up with? Ill try to look in the setup but I have no idea. Ive made a post on aeroforce forum but todd hasnt gotten back to me yet. Thanks for the try tho man, I really appreciate it.
 
Haha wow I'm kicking myself in the a$$ for that one. Don't know whynimdidnt think to look in there, i thought they'd all be checked off regardless n didn't know you can just disable some. Thanks so much lol ima bookmark that video. N he's right how people just turn em on to show you n that's it. Very good walk through. Thank you once again.
 
Ffdp mine looks exactly like yours, that's boost in PSI right? My blower makes 5.9psi at the shifts that's what will show up right?
