ABS light on after putting on 17 inch wheels



Check your sensors again... This happened when I put 22s on mine years ago. Shop knocked off a sensor.. :-/
 
I'm starting to think its not the wheels. I'm getting this horrible grinding noise and this fluctuation in the brake pedal. So I'm thinking that either the ABS Pump is going out or one of my sensors on my wheels is broken
 
If the sensors are all connected properly...

Could be that there's corrosion in 1 of the harnesses from a broken wire (its common). Unplug them at the bearing and car side and check the pins. If there's corrosion on 1 or both pins, replace the harness.
 


I had some pretty bad grinding a few weeks back. pulled off my rotor to find that one of my HUB bolts had somehow come loose and was letting the wheel tilt just enough to grind when making corners and screwing with my brake pressure.
