I had my car in the shop to have both front hubs replaced. Which is what i thought was the only thing wrong. Turns out I was wrong. My car is throwing C1242 which is a faulty motor pack assembly. I have no idea what that is, how much it costs or anything. Any advice on maybe how to fix it or something? Anything would help. Thanks.
 




I've seen my share of new parts going back quick as well. There's no way to know when something goes bad, new or used. Just saying..the world isn't perfect. Why pay more than needed for an older car repair.
 


Open your trunk and look on the lid. That is your rpo sheet but i forget the code it's supposed to have for magnasteer.
 
FE3 is one of the codes, nv7 also i think for the rpo's for magnasteer. if you no longer have a sticker, (under you trunk lid) look under your car at the rack and pinion where the steering shaft hooks up,(drivers side) there will be a wire leading up to the back of the engine, if its there you have magnasteer.
