Thier scrapping it they don't care.
Drove my car 1k miles and 15hrs straight on friday from Mi to Tulsa, OK. Got 24mpg on the way down. Was looking for something to do Sat. night down there so we went to the midnight drags at Tulsa Raceway Park and whooped on some mustangs and diesel trucks. Was the only FWD car running, lots of suprised looks. I didn't have a helmet so I was hard on the brakes out the big end to keep it over 13.99 to be able to stay on the track. Drove the car home 1k miles on Monday lol.

Mee too!!! I'm picking it up tomo. No idea when it's going to actually end up sprayed and on the car though. Got a ticket at 88/70 on the way home from Ok. Lol so money will be tight for a few weeks

Finally going to go fast next year hopefully...the MT ET street radials never lived up to my expectations. I thought of them as slicks but they are really just a sticky street tire and I was sick of having to come off the convertor barely off idle to hook. Just knowing that there was so much more there and I couldn't have it. Picked these up for $250 local.
26x10-16 MT ET Street bias ply, still not really a "real" slick but lots of people use them. If these wont dead hook I don't even know what to do. I might just put the stock brakes back on and get some straight real 15" slicks. I love my brakes but no one makes a good sized 16" slick that fits these cars. M&H makes a 26x12-16. Anybody have a clue what kind of wheel I could get my hands on to fit a 12" tire up front?

The car is asleep in the barn for the winter but I went through and fixed all the broken links from rearranging my photobucket

Man I just read the whole thread n it's been a bumpy road! Lol good to see it looks like your getting back into it n keeping her alive again. I think I was parked next to you at the wbody meet in May. I remember the belt wrap n the fuel logs haha. We were butted up the the cammed gxp n jake with the white gxp. Wish you were a little closer to help with a lot of your knowledge. All thought that's when it costs more money too. Hope to see ya again in June.

Yup that would be mine. I will be back there again this year too. Looking forward to it, good crew down there. Wish I could gather up the funds to rip that big ugly M90 off of there and bolt in something a little....snail-y-er

I considered something similar last year when a m112 kit went through eBay but its too much $$$ work and trouble compared to a turbo. Actual whipples are WAYY out of my price range. The only way it would be worth it is if I could figure out a way to convert a factory ford or Jag m112 to a 3800

Take offs from GT500 Mustangs could be a good option with a little bit of work. Beings you've already rebuilt engines and transmissions for this car getting a Gt500 SC would be a walk in the park I bet. Hell the new Gt500s have a TVS on them and Ive seen them go for cheap on Ebay.
