99 gtp...

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

I wonder if mine will fit under my hood on my comp g. It doesn't look that bad at all.

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

17s are back on. Got the 255/45s mounted up today. Ordered them at noon yesterday and they showed up at 11:30 this morning. Probably an inch of clearance to the strut. Should have went with 265/40s lol. I ended up getting Falken Azenis pt722s. I looked at a every different tire on tire rack, eBay and where ever else and decided I liked the price and 600 treadwear rating of these the best, as my car seems to wear front tires out quickly...:th_scratchhead: and I'm not concerned with dry grip as much as longetivity. I have the ET streets for when I really need to hook. No rubbing any where, they hook great on the street. I think the extra width makes up for the hard compound.

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

I would seriously consider putting the stock wheels back on with some DR's on the front. Love red coupes on stock torque stars I never should have sold the red 02 coupe I had.

Add's to the sleeper. Love this car well rounded and whats the plans with them nitrous bottles?

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

^^^ Ya just some nice decorations to show off to them cops when pulled over.

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

Not so sure on the nitrous yet. I don't really want to spray it into the throttle body inlet. I've been reading all kinds of threads about nitrous not dispersing correctly through the supercharger and IC and melting the plugs off on 1 & 2. If I knew I was going to come across it I would have modified the LIM somehow to spray directly in. Plus I have to ditch my sub and stuff out of the trunk if I use it. I really want to run 11's though...

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

I have so much headroom as far as knock retard is concerned. I'm probably already going to be able to run max timing on a 2.6 pulley on E85, meth would have no benefit on my setup. Without porting the heads, increasing the compression or putting in a bigger cam there is no where for me to make more power with a M90. That's where the nitrous comes in.

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

Lol, maybe next spring....one step at a time. By next spring I fully expect to be sick of this car, save up some money, demod, sell the car, buy a m6 ls1 t/a and put a turbo on that.

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

why spend so much time, effort, and money to just turn around and sell it? fuk that, i may get another car eventually, but im not gonna demod or sell my gp

Re: 99 GTP...halfsie wiring tuckage, IC/Gen V on

Well I cant afford 2 cars at the same time and I can't sell it complete because its only worth $3500. I cant get much more out of the m90 setup without building the motor again and if I'm going to put a turbo on something it's probably not going to be a fwd Grand Prix. So...it only makes sense that eventually when I get bored I will demod, sell and upgrade.

That was a textbook boring dyno run. But I still enjoyed it. Nice numbers :th_thumbsup-wink:
