98 GTP service engine light and slight hesitation?

OK soooo Cat off cleared codes and still missing this is starting to get frustrating! I decided to pull the plug and its fine...ICM??????? This isn't a good way to start off with a new car...
 


im the 9 th owner of my car, i feel your pain. i had to clean up after the last owner did nothing to it.

test the icm, auto zone can do that i believe. have you swapped the coils around to see if the misfire follows the coil yet?
 
No but Im going to try that right now..just didnt want to have to do it they are brand new coils less then 100 miles on them..but as I have come to find out things can be bad brand new...
 
Could a bad computer cause my miss? I'm throwing the possibility of injector but doesn't explain why the miss jumped from 4 to 2
 


I pulled plug and wire started the car and it's getting spark. Not the coil. What's the gap on the plugs suppose to be? Possibility? I'm trying to get this fixed this week it's my only car I'm borrowing one now ha..
 
Gap should be .60. You gap smaller when you're turning the supercharger faster and blowing out the spark... this is clearly not an issue.
 
Ok so I ordered my ZZP Downpipe bolt in no cat..So I guess this is off subject as far as my miss goes BTW I'm getting the ICM tested today. What happens when the computer no longer has the rear O2 sensor?

It'll throw a code for bank 1 sensor 2 o2 no activity.
 
Ok. I have me car back together I figured out the misfire. It was indeed a bad Coil...Misfire gone! So I put my exhaust back together till I get my downpipe problem I'm having now is its backfiring/popping really bad under boost. Any ideas on this issue now...at least I can drive it fine with no boost. Is it backfiring from the throttle body being cleaned?? Or because it has no rear o2 sensor? Im defiantly throwing the sensor 2 o2 no activity code.
 


So back to the drawing board now I'm misfiring on 5. The backfire finally set the code off as well as the maf code so maf? Will the maf cause misfires to jump around?
 
no the maf with should only throw a maf code, it may run like crap, or sometimes not with a bad maf. but it will have the code for a maf.

have the icm checked out yet? under the coils?
