I thgink I need a new tranny but I want top make sure I buy the right one. What tranny comes stock in a 98 grand prix gtp

Basically any trans from 97-02 will work for you.

I think in either 99 or 00, the cooler lines got changed just a tad, but its nothing 10 minutes of you time cant fix swapping them around.

But only out of a supercharged car. Na cars have a different gear ratio and differential.
