97 pontiac prix keeps missfiring





The mechanic said. That since 2 out of the cylinders have no pounds in them atall. When tthey're supposed to have 125 the engine is no good.
 


It could be a few different things. Could be valves, heads, lifters. It's hard telling without tearing into it.
 
True. Any possibility. I'm just trying to get more of an understanding. I'm learning more an more about this car everyday even just by reading about it and the engine. I mean the engine can be rebuilt right?
 


Well here's a question I've only had the car for not even three months and the engine blew. Can I take it back to the dealership?

if they sold it to you "as is" they wont do a thing, unless they have a heart, dont know many dealers with a heart that big tho.

or if they gave you a warranty, i would hope its for 3 months at least.
 
they will steall all your money on bs things that "they think is wrong" and even if there was a warranty they will say its out of warranty and you did something to break it that is how they make money these days. OR you could look in swappng it your self its not that bad of a job
 
I found a supercharged engine today at a junk yard I wanna find out if they would trade for it. I do t know though.. considering most of the parts to my engine are still good I mean I could just keep the good parts and get ride of the bad
