• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

97 GTP The White Ghost aka Pearl

Lol....No way I'm going that crazy with Blue on my car. I do like the blue on the dash though, but I haven't decided what I'm going to do with the interior yet, that is still far away.

I removed the dogbones at the beginning of my LIM GASKETS repair and now the Engine won't move forward. It's just tilt back. I have the front of the car jacked up.
Strange! It's like it's stuck.

put the wheels back on the ground. make sure the cars not hanging on the park awl in the trans, block the back tires and put it in neutral engine should be easier to pull back, or be close to where it belongs.

ever park on a hill and cant get the shiftier out of park? when it does pop it goes pinggggggggggg! thats the park awl in the trans. if the weight of the car is pulling on the park awl the engine will be very hard to pull back up, as the whole car will want to move when you pull the engine.

putting the car on the ground, block the back wheels, then put the car in neutral and the engine should be very close to where it belongs. push/pull it back in place.

I found out early I have oil leaking from my oil pan......ugh another job to tackle, but it's all good.

I'm thinking it is the oil pan gasket.

not that bad. 1 quart every 3,000 miles. then i change it, hardly ever add to it either. ill let it hit that fill line.

old racing trick was they would run a quart less, engine made a bit more power. so i look at it that way, cause race car lol

If I remove the h bar on the blower do I need to do inlet porting on the LIM?

If not will it still make a difference?

only reason to remove the H bar is if your installing a IC. pretty sure anyways. others may chime in on the porting stuff. all i know is what ive read on it.

I just finished cleaning some more parts, all I have left to clean is the throttle body. I haven't even took it apart yet.

The reason I asked is because I'm been looking at some images on Google images, as a reference and I see a lot images that have the h bar removed, so I wondering.

as long as its all apart this long, paint all that up. make it nice since your taking your sweet time here.
Lol....Yea I am definitely not in a hurry! I can't drive her until next year anyway. So, why not since I have her all apart.

I think it will turn out pretty good. The engine bay will look a hell of a lot better. She will run a lot better also and that's my goal.
